Chapter 352: Chapter 175: Quiet Cultivation, Living Steel_3

At first, Ronan tried to keep time every day with an hourglass and a pocket watch, not knowing which day he forgot to check, he eventually simply stopped paying attention to it.

His life was then only left with a few things—

Meditation, practicing spells in the Inheritance Mark Space, Body Forging exercises, and then it would be rune research...

Ronan very much enjoyed this serenity.

In fact, it had been a long time since he had spent such bland yet fulfilling days.

This kind of routine had accompanied him for a long period during his apprenticeship, it was only after he became a Level 1 Wizard that he was constantly on the move, rarely having such thorough moments to settle down.

...

"Pat—"

Under the densely clouded skies, Ronan stood on a massive dark-red strange rock, opening his right hand.

Balls of black metal burst from his fingertips, falling to the ground, scurrying about like living creatures, some even sprouting wings and soaring through the skies like birds.

These creature-like metals spread out around Ronan in an instant, and then, with a flip of his palm.

All the moving metal instantly converged into one place, forming a bizarre humanoid figure over five meters tall with three heads and six arms.

This strange figure had no facial features, only two black hole-like eyes on the three heads, Ronan raised his head, making silent eye contact.

A faint consciousness was transmitted, and quickly, the bizarre humanoid began running rapidly across the vast metallic land, changing its human shape continuously in the process, with weapons-like spikes growing on its body. The spikes shot out and landed on the ground, exploding violently, creating one pit after another...

Ronan watched the moving figure, a slight flicker of light passing through his eyes.

In an instant, the running figure abruptly froze, as if instantly solidified, the entire figure swiftly turned into a brilliant silver.

[Silverization] Seal activated.

The silverized strange figure seemed to acquire an aura of mysterious profundity, it continued to step forward, but its figure eerily disappeared in place, then reappeared abruptly tens of meters away.

After repeating this several times, Ronan raised his hand...

"Boom!"

The entire bizarre figure exploded violently, turning into a stream of silver metal, moving rapidly towards Ronan’s palm.

"Incredible..."

Ronan looked at the silvery metal flowing like mercury between his fingers, within the intense energy fluctuations of the Metal Attribute, there was an intermixing strand of space-related mysterious aura, murmuring involuntarily.

[Activated Metal - Living Steel (Master 60/1600)]!

This First Rank Metal Magic [Activated Metal], after such prolonged use by Ronan, has finally reached Master Level Proficiency.

The derivative effect of the Extraordinary Magic Realm is peculiar, allowing detached metal to be "deeply activated" even further, achieving an effect similar to metal puppets—without self-awareness, but capable of executing some simple combat commands from Ronan, and also able to do some inspecting and detecting tasks like living creatures.

Overall, the effect of [Living Steel] within the Extraordinary Magic Realm is not particularly outstanding, but it greatly enriches Ronan’s combat methods, with the attached effects being quite good as well, giving one a marvelous feeling of wearing living armor.

But what truly surprised Ronan was the optimization and modification of the [Silverization] Seal by the Space Energy Seed in his mind.

[Silverization] Seal underwent some wondrous transformations after being nourished by Spatial Energy; when activating [Silverization], the Metal Magic he cast would sometimes exhibit magical effects akin to Space-related Magic.

"This is not merely a simple Space Energy Seed; it must also contain some knowledge of the Ancient Mirror Court’s Space Magic... But I lack the means to actively receive and decipher it..."

Ronan examined the Space Energy Seed in his mind once more, again struck by its exceptional nature; the gift left by that Dawn-Rank Silver Cane Magic Tool was far beyond his imagination.

If he truly were a full-fledged Mirror Garden Wizard, perhaps he would have already gleaned some remarkable Space Magic from this seed.

Alas, he was not, and so the gift was transferred to a few of his Soul Seals in the most superficial and crude form.

Whether it was [Mirror Light] evolving into [Multiple Mirror Light] or the current wondrous changes in the [Silverization] Seal, they probably only represented an insignificant fraction of the true value of the gift.

Ronan felt regret but was powerless to change anything; he could only watch as a tremendous treasure slipped away before his eyes, second by second.

"I still have the core rune of the Dawn-Rank Silver Cane Magic Tool. By combining this rune with the Space Energy Seed, perhaps I can unearth its true value..."

"Even if I don’t gain any inheritance of Space Magic, making [Mirror Light] and [Silverization] Seal as powerful as possible would still, to some extent, minimize my losses..."

As Ronan’s understanding of Ice Magic deepened, Metal Magic became increasingly irrelevant to him. But if he could integrate the mysterious elements of Space Magic, then perhaps he could undergo a complete metamorphosis and forge a new ace up his sleeve.

Ronan thought, slowly withdrawing from the Metal Inheritance Mark Space.

However, just as he was stepping out of the grey door this time, he was suddenly taken aback to discover...

In the Ascetic Room, where he had always been alone, someone else was present today.

A handsome and dazzling face, golden hair like flowing strands of silk, deep and tranquil silver-white eyes, accompanied by the powerful spiritual power fluctuations common to a Level 3 Wizard...

Sitting quietly at the long table, flipping through a Rune Book.

The moment Ronan appeared, the other also incidentally looked his way.

Orian.

Four-Colored Metal Orian.

Ronan’s expression fluctuated slightly, his figure pausing, standing before the grey door in silent confrontation with Orian.

After a moment, his gaze regained its calm, and he naturally walked over to the long table, eventually pulling out a chair to sit directly opposite Orian.

As Kosti had said, Orian carried the high hopes of many in the Magic Ring.

Up to now, there were eight Inheritance Mark Spaces, and the usage rights had always been solely Orian’s.

Ronan was the newcomer, the "invader."

However, Orian did not show any signs of unhappiness or hostility from his "territory being invaded." Instead, his demeanor toward Ronan was quite friendly, even initiating a nod and greeting.

"Long time no see, Ronan Damien."

Orian gently tapped the table, and from the seemingly smooth, seamless peachwood table, several winged, smoke-like transparent creatures quickly emerged.

They laboriously climbed onto Orian’s fingers, looking at him with faces full of eagerness and affection.

Orian gently toyed with the little creatures, then spoke calmly to Ronan: "Would you like to drink something?"
