He was standing on space itself, with a strange blue-colored barrier beneath the place where they were all able to stand.
In front of him, different small cosmic stones enveloped in flames could be seen dripping down like rain as the sights stretched on for almost 250 kilometers distance.
Looking at the velocity with which the Stones were moving, he did not doubt the amount of devastating damage they would do if they slammed on one's head.
After, the region of the flaming stones, another region could be seen as completely dark and dimly illuminated by cosmic crystals that drifted in space.
A phenomenon was occurring that caught Zera's vision as he noticed a strange dark vortex manifesting occasionally and erratically in space. Although he didn't know what they meant or did due to being far away, he didn't feel they would be any less dangerous compared to the flaming meteors.
Past the Vortex manifestation region was a gigantic structure that extended very high into the space.
Thick ropes could be seen around the gigantic structure which Zeras could only define to be there to act like some way of climbing the tower.
An object could be barely seen on the tower radiating a very bright purple light that shines through the entire space.
If there was only one thing the object could be, then it is surely the Void Stone. "So the mission objective is to take the Void Stone." Zeras mused under his breath.
"Hey you all, listen up." A voice echoed out to Zeras as he directed his attention away and focused on the dragonoid figure with large claws and dark scaly hands.
"I'm Draggy and the leader of our team. Being the first person to apply for the mission. The mission is to obtain that stone over there and to do that we need to cross these three regions before arriving at the stone." Draggy said as he pointed towards the far distance, the top of the tower where the purple object lies confirming Zera's suspicion.
"The three regions won't be a walk in the park with the first one -Meteor Shower Region- requiring us to dodge the flaming meteors. A touch means elimination.
The second region-Black hole Region- releases a dark vortex that creates a powerful dragging force that sucks anyone too close within. Getting sucked in means elimination. As for how powerful the absorption force is, you'll all soon know.
The third phase is climbing the tower with those ropes, if you fall, then you're gone. And that means elimination..."Draggy explained as he looked at the four of them with eyes that said: do you understand? which they all nodded to.
"If that was everything to worry about, it would have been a smooth sail but unfortunately we have to watch out for them too..." Draggy said as he pointed to another group of five people who strangely had a red arrow on top of their heads.
There were four boys and a long leg girl among them and a notorious and sinister smile lined their lips as they looked at Zeras and others.
"This is a competition, the first person to grab the stone wins for his group. Genetic abilities and any type of dirtiness are allowed...So, team, you can all get your paws dirty and try your best to also avoid getting dirtied too..." Draggy said seriously causing Zeras to raise an eyebrow.
'A dirty match, huh..."
"The match starts in the next sixty seconds, I don't think I can cram all your names on my head within thirty seconds so, we shall be assigned numbers based on our arrivals. I'm Number 1, and the last person to arrive is Number 5.
So a quick introduction. I'm number one and I have pretty great claws that can rend almost everything apart.." Draggy said brandishing his huge dark claws for them to see.
Looking at those ghostly claws, they looked like they could tear everything apart.
"I'm number two, and my genetic ability is elasticity. You can call me elastic..." A lanky male figure said beside Zeras causing all of them to give a nod. His abnormally long body says everything already.
"I'm number three and can shoot out beams that make you pause in your steps. You can call me heavy." A boy with long ears and wearing a glass said.
He looked completely harmless and like a bookworm but Zeras didn't underestimate him on hearing he could slow people down. Getting slowed down in this mission might be the straw that crushed the donkey back in this mission. Thankfully, he was on their side.
"I'm number 4 and I can teleport. Call me limitless." The flaming hair and eyes of Quinn's profile said causing Zeras to roll his eyes.
"I'm Number 5 and I have great strength. You can call me number 5." Zeras said under his breath since the others had names that were short and simple, then number 5 was a perfect name for him.
"Now, follow my leads, and only one thing matters which is obtaining that stone at all costs. If you can help other teammates, then do so and you might indirectly improve the stakes of winning. But I don't advise allowing you to get dragged down by your teammate. Only help, if you can be secured too...
I believe you can see the red arrow, anyone holding that sign is an enemy and should be stopped and eliminated. The one with a blue arrow on their head is a friend and should be helped... You can go all out with your attacks since dying is not possible. So go all out, and try not to die quickly. And if you do will die, then try dragging a few enemies down with you with a last desperate suicide attack...Is that clear?"
Zeras pursed his lips and looked at the Draggy in front of him. This is the most shameless and most corrupted team leader Zeras had ever seen.
