Kailen smiled at her reaction,brushing off her playful question "To be honest, from childhood I’ve always been a loner who has not been good at social interactions. However the more I interacted with people in the past, the more I got better at it.

But after the death of my parents I bounced back to my old self. You are the first person it feels extremely easy to communicate with for as long as I can remember during these few years"

Having donned some of the apple juice, Kailen’s gaze lingered on Arrie who was making weird crunching sounds from chewing the sandwich.

" Is she always this loud when she eats " Arrie noticed the expression on Kailen’s face " What? Haven’t you seen a pretty lady eating before?"

Kailen shook his head " Nothing really. I have a question though. Do you know anything about the Noble families?"

Arrie nodded "Mmm, you want to know about the three greats?"

" Yeah that’s what they are called. The Federation has three noble families".

" Alright ,as I was saying, the Federation has three noble families referred to as the three greats.

The NGONZOLA noble family is located in the Urna continent. They specialize in commerce,transporting their products via air and sea to the other continents. Amongst other business they manage, they centrally specialize in building and construction and fashion . Most of the clothes we wear are their doing. Furthermore ,the Federation government always or mostly partners with the Ngonzola family whenever it has to do with materializing the planned layouts of cities,roads ,amongst others. I heard that Zanpala University was actually erected 50 years ago with the partnership of the Ngonzola Family’s finnest architects , engineers etc.

Due to their immense contribution to the federation, they have immense wealth and boast serious influence.

The Hayes noble family is located in the Rath continent, specifically Zanpala nation and in the capital ,this city. They specialize in sending people to the millitary. Their family has deep ties to the military, housing and raising various millitary powerhouses.

The Xu Li noble family specialises in politics. Most of their members are members of the political board of the federation, having various influential position in the government. The members are scattered throughout the federation, however they are officially based in the Sia continent. The current president of the Federation, Xu Reynolds, is from the Xu Li Noble family.

These noble families have deep roots in the federation. It can be said that they are literally the movers and shakers of the federation. Each and everyone of them have serious influence and prestige that cannot be underrated"

Arrie paused, taking a bite of her sandwich.

Kailen ignored the crunching sounds her chewing produced ,completely immersed in her words.

"No wonder their scions are snobs who feel superior to everyone . Their families are really influential"

" Mm. The scions of these noble families are scattered in Zanpala university . This is no surprise ,as it is one of the greatest universities on not just the Rath continent, but in the federation. Therefore, the noble families send their scions here for the best level of education. The scions of these noble families have formed various clubs as some sort of social circle to interact with one another and build connections.

As for the commoners, most of them serve as lackeys to these scions, attempting to curry their favors. The commoners who are talented enough and stand out are recruited by these noble family scions into their families and given positions .

Most of the talented commoners accept this offer with enthusiasm as the benefits of being adopted into these noble families can ot be underrated.

However , the talented commoners who reject these offers to join the noble circles ,insisting to thread their path mostly earn the ire of the noble families, as the noble families see the rejection of their offers as an insult to their prestige and authority . I’m sure very soon, with the commotion you’ve caused after arriving in the university and will definitely cause from your personality , some of the scions will approach you very soon to try to recruit you"

Kailen nodded , having a clear understanding of the noble families.

" Looks like I’m bound to go against these noble families then. I don’t intend to join any noble family. Not now,not ever " Kailen’s stance was clear. Joining the noble circles would definitely come with their benefits ,however Kailen would be at their beck and call. He didn’t want that . He had decided to open his heart to friendships worth his trust, however that still had not changed his decision to not affiliate himself with any power. His motivation was to terrorise the diabllic beasts for the death of his parents ,,then grow strong enough to stand at the peak of the universe so that his fate does not dangle in the hands of others. With the time dilation artifact ,that was more than possible. Some affiliation to some noble families would not benefit him in anyway .

Arrie nodded at Kailen’s words.With what she had observed about his methods of dealing with those who offended him, especially that noble from the Hayes family, it was obvious that he didn’t give a crap about the nobles .

However what Arrie was curious about was how Kailen was so monstrous . After all he had demonstrated, there was no way he would have an ordinary background . " Did he lie to me about his background? Or is he some reclusive sect he cannot disclose "
