" Why did I have to tell him to pick up the call?"

He was okay with helping Micheal ,but moving into his apartment?. Kailen was a loner at core. He may have been open to friendships now ,but wasn’t this too big of a step?

Micheal was not just being polite. He seriously didn’t want to take advantage of Kailen’s kindness .

Micheal ended the call , then stared at Kailen and Arrie not knowing what to say.

" He probably wants to ask me if he should move in as soon as possible "

Kailen figured . " Mr Micheal, you can move in as soon as possible"

This was what had led to the current scene.

Never had Kailen imagined that things would turn out this way.

Arrie had taken Felicia’s number from Micheal and had called the little girl to chat with her.
