Help, I'm in Another World and All the Men Are Are So Dangerous! [BL]-Chapter 331: Morning After
Chapter 331: Morning After
"I-I can’t move anymore..."
Rocco flopped his face down onto the bed, completely drained of energy.
His small frame lay motionless as he tried to recover.
Laxus soon returned while carrying a fluffy robe.
With a casual flick, he draped it over Rocco’s back, then slipped into bed beside him and pulled him into a tight embrace.
"I’m worry for being so aggressive. Let’s take a little break for now, okay?" Laxus murmured, he gently wrapping his arms around Rocco as if settling in for a quiet sleep.
Just moments ago, they’d been moving with such intensity that Rocco thought the bed might fall apart.
And yet, Laxus was already back to being perfectly fine—how unfair.
Rocco, on the other hand, felt like he’d used up every ounce of strength he had for the entire century.
He gave Laxus a half-lidded glare and lightly pounded his muscled chest with his small fists.
"The sun’s coming up! It’s already morning! You went way overboard!" he huffed.
Still holding him close, Laxus chuckled and gently patted Rocco’s back.
"Yeah, yeah. I’m sorry. But don’t worry—we don’t have to get up in the morning. Let’s sleep in until noon. I’ll be right here beside you, so just relax."
Even as his cheeks puffed out in defiance, Rocco couldn’t resist the soft, soothing tone.
Slowly, he buried his face into Laxus’s chest.
He nuzzled his cheek against the warmth chest, and Laxus’s arms tightened around him in response.
A heavy sleepiness began to pull at him, deeper and deeper.
After everything they’d done through the night—things better left unspoken—it wasn’t surprising that once Laxus finally calmed down, Rocco’s energy just evaporated.
He was overwhelmed with exhaustion.
Wrapped snugly in a fluffy blanket and held tight in Laxus’s warm arms, Rocco felt his awareness slip away as if being gently pulled into a peaceful dream.
"...Finally, we can be together."
"...Nn... mm..."
The second time he woke up, Laxus was no longer there.
Rocco blinked his eyes groggily, his eyelids still heavy, and after a few long seconds, he sluggishly sat up.
The room hadn’t changed—it was still Laxus’s quiet bedroom.
The house was still as calm as ever.
Looks like no one had come to retrieve him yet.
Imagining Sylas’s terrifying expression when he eventually did made him chuckle nervously.
He stretched his arms and stepped down from the bed.
Unlike earlier, he didn’t stumble or collapse from fatigue.
It seemed like his body had started to adjust after so many rounds of... that sort of thing with Laxus.
The realization made his face flush red, and he hurried to shake off the inappropriate thoughts.
"N-no more of that! It’s morning—no, afternoon already! It’s time to focus! No more naughty thoughts allowed!" he scolded himself.
"Okay, okay. Time to get dressed, get dressed..."
Blushing furiously, Rocco glanced around the room and spotted fresh clothes neatly placed on the sofa nearby.
He scrambled over and started changing quickly, hoping no one would come in mid-change.
For a moment, he paused.
"These... fit really well, even though it’s my first time wearing them," he mumbled.
But he decided not to think too hard about it.
There was no way Laxus had gone out and bought these obviously expensive clothes just to use as Rocco’s casual change of clothes... right? Right??
Laughing nervously to himself, Rocco shook off the thought and quietly peeked out the door.
He cracked it open just a bit and checked both sides of the hallway.
All clear. With the coast confirmed, he tiptoed out and then took off at a light trot.
It wasn’t urgent, but he figured he might as well look for Laxus.
He could’ve waited for him to come, but... well, this would count as a little stroll, too.
"Ah, Young Master Rocco. You’re already up?"
While walking casually down the hall, Rocco was suddenly called out to and spun around in surprise.
The man in the white coat was Olgert, one of Laxus’s trusted aides.
He gave Rocco a warm smile and he jogged over toward while waving his hand.
"Olgert! Good morning! I’m looking for Laxus!" Rocco declared.
"Good morning. You’re looking for Master Laxus, huh? That’s perfect—he actually asked me to come get you," Olgert said with a grin.
"Huh?" Rocco tilted his head. That was unusual. Normally, Laxus came to him personally instead of sending someone.
Curious, he asked, "Where is he?"
Olgert pointed toward the courtyard. "You know that open space in the rose garden? The one with the gazebo?"
"Oh! You mean the one with the big fountain, right?"
"Exactly. He’s waiting for you there, so could you head over? I’m sorry to make you walk, but he’s expecting you."
"Roger that!" Rocco saluted proudly while puffing out his chest.
His eyes sparkled with determination.
Olgert ruffled his hair with a gentle smile but muttered a little nervously, "Just don’t get lost, okay?"
"Rude! I won’t get lost! I’m perfectly capable walking alone!" Rocco huffed, clearly feeling offended. Then he added with a grin, "I’m off! Oh—do you wanna come too, Olgert?"
"Ah, no, I’m good. I’ll catch up later. Thanks for the invite, though."
Rocco gave an enthusiastic nod and turned to head toward the rose garden, his heart fluttering with curiosity.
He had been walking on the first floor, so he exited the manor quickly through a nearby door.
If he walked straight ahead, he should reach the destination without getting lost.
As he jogged along, a question suddenly popped into his head.
"Hm... Come to think of it, it’s really quiet..."
He came to a stop and glanced back at the manor.
Now that he thought about it, Sylas and his father, who were usually rushing in noisily at this hour, hadn’t shown up today.
He hadn’t seen Makarov either, nor had he passed many of the usual staff.
Why is it so quiet? he wondered, he furrowing his brow, but he quickly shrugged it off.
"Well, whatever! Gotta get going!"
He picked up his speed again, determined not to keep Laxus waiting.
