I'm the Villainess in the Apocalypse-Chapter 453. Time to Move
Chapter 453: 453. Time to Move
"Huh? Really?" Anna was surprised when she heard Dylan’s words.
Dylan nodded and chuckled.
In the beginning, the two of them thought that their abilities would spread far and wide. After all, Daniels Family was one of the leaders in City A Base. If there was someone prominent in the family, it would definitely boost their status in the base.
But looking at it, Mr. Williams didn’t seem to know that Dylan and Anna were both powerful awakened.
Yesterday, they didn’t even use their strongest ability to face the strange big mutated animals. They fought several strange big mutated animals and they were not very tired. At most, Dylan was a bit exhausted after the battle because he put himself in quite the danger.
But in the end, he still survived well and Anna hadn’t even used her full ability.
The other soldiers didn’t know how far Anna could go, but they knew that she was definitely as strong as Uncle Darien, who was also very powerful.
That kind of strength was definitely one to be reckoned with. There was no way that there wouldn’t be anyone who didn’t want to spread this matter one way or another. Some people definitely did.
But in the end, the news was suppressed.
Those people in the military would not dare to share anything outside if they were given the order not to.
"But it’s good." Anna thought about it and then looked in the direction where Mr. Williams and the others go. "There’s no need for them to know about it."
Dylan nodded.
In fact, there was one more thing that he didn’t say to Anna.
That they might did say it, but it was downplayed. There were many other awakened people, so Anna and Dylan were definitely not the first one. But the most powerful one vs someone who was average... the latter definitely wouldn’t make a lot of splash.
Oh well, Dylan didn’t care too much.
"Let’s clean up and prepare to move."
"Yes!"
"Meow!"
...
While Dylan, Anna, and Kitty were preparing to move and didn’t care too much about this little episode, Mr. Williams was fuming. His wife, Mrs. Williams was fanning the flame and kept on saying that Anna was such an unfilial child who didn’t know how to respect her elders.
"She didn’t know how to respect her elders. Now that she had gotten married, her wings are hardened," Mrs. Williams said with a sigh. "Don’t be too angry with that child. She’s still young and didn’t understand the importance of having a good family behind her."
Brian looked at his mother and blinked his eyes.
He had to admit that his mother was indeed someone who was very powerful. In just a few words, she made Mr. Williams anger towards Anna reached a new peak and might even hate her so much.
No wonder that she was able to secure the position as Mrs. Williams.
Though, Brian had to say that he didn’t like women like his mother. Seeing how his father was wrapped in the hands of Mrs. Williams, Brian had some goosebumps and felt that women were indeed very scary.
It would be better for him not to get involved too much or it would only hurt him later.
"Indeed." Mr. Williams sneered.
Thinking about that unfilial daughter, Mr. Williams was so angry that he wanted to vomit blood. If he knew that this would happen, he would have never let Anna go so easily in the past and would make sure she suffered much more.
Mr. Williams itched to go back and taught Anna some lessons.
But thinking that her position was now high, Mr. Williams decided not to. He would only make a joke out of himself if he were to go to Anna and tried to trouble that girl. Dylan was also watching him and Mr. Williams didn’t want to lose even more face than what he already had.
It was annoying.
Mr. Williams had the faint feeling that things would have been better if he had let Anna go away much quickly.
At least, during the time when he still has power, he could teach that girl a lesson so that she would learn how to respect him better. Now that the chance has passed, there was nothing much that Mr. Williams could do anymore.
"Let’s go back."
Mr. Williams and Brian agreed right away. They have no other business to stay in this place anyway and didn’t have the interest to stay either.
"Yes."
They went back to their apartment and Mrs. Williams had to heat up the food. They could only buy the cheap food from the canteen. Even if the look was not very good and all, but this was the only thing they could buy while still saved some contribution points.
If not, they would end up using up all their contribution points for the day.
As they returned, they saw Jake and Jill walked out of their room and looked in their direction.
"Do you want to ask for their cooperation?" Jill suddenly asked.
Brenda told her that she was allowed to recruit people on her own. She was thinking about taking the people from her small team that had cooperated together for the past few days. But there wouldn’t be many people in total.
And if she was not wrong, Brian was also an awakened.
Even though Mr. Williams was technically also an awakened, but he was already quite old and didn’t seem to be suitable for this kind of job anymore.
Jill also didn’t think about asking that old man.
At most, Brian would be a more suitable candidate.
Jake looked at the group of people in front of him and after thinking for a moment, he nodded. "Sure."
Even if he didn’t think too much about Brenda, but his brother was still quite useful. Besides, if they were to do that work under Davis Family, what was wrong with bringing more people to help them?
