Mated to the Mad Lord-Chapter 242: See You In Hell
Chapter 242: See You In Hell
The fact that all of William’s guards had used silver bullets, giving them an edge over her father’s men, who were twice as numerous, meant only one thing.
That William himself had used silver bullets against her father, in a way that had her heart thumping in shock as she again stepped forward, only to be blocked by Fervor, who seemed to have been expecting it.
"William!" she screamed at him as she watched him raise the gun in his hand again, prepared to use it, even when it was clear that her father’s beast was having difficulty standing.
"Don’t!" she screamed at him, even as William, of course, even though his ears were clearly working, paid no attention to Fiona as a cruel smirk flashed across his face.
"You poisoned me for what? To take over my district? If I let you live, I can already imagine what you’ll do to my child!" he said as he began to speak with a wild smile on his face, raising his hand again against his nose to wipe off the blood there, even as he continued speaking, stepping forward since it was clear that, surprisingly, he now had the upper hand.
A big, obvious hole in Eldric’s beast and another right in the center of his chest, aware of the effects of silver, which prevented wounds from regenerating as fast.
"I guess we’ll both die here today! It’s only right!" he continued, and Fiona again cried out as loudly as she could, with tears running down her face.
"William, please!!! Don’t kill him! We-we can work this out!" she gasped, wondering how she suddenly ended up where she was.
Why they simply couldn’t talk this out? Hope still blazing in her heart that if her father could make an antidote, then another could be made to save William’s life.
Why they couldn’t just coexist together as a family?
"William! For the sake of the child, please let him live!" she begged, aware that even if the recording was real, then at least he cared about the child.
"Please!!!" she gasped, only to hear another gunshot ring out, even as William shot another of Eldric’s legs with a look of pride on his face.
Releasing another gunshot before stepping closer until he was only a few steps away from Eldric’s beast, which was bleeding on the ground.
Most of Eldric’s men were already dead, and the ones that weren’t were being cleaned up by William’s men with the speed of light.
Eldric howled in pain, struggling to get up, only to fall back to the ground in pain, even as William chuckled out loud in glee as he pointed the gun right at the center of Eldric’s head, about to shoot.
"I’ll send you to hell first before I meet you there!" William coldly spat out, even as he slowly pressed the trigger and shot, expecting to watch with glorious satisfaction as Eldric hit the ground dead right in front of him.
But that didn’t happen, as just as he pulled the trigger, he watched Eldric leap forward with much more dexterity than he should have, considering William had painstakingly shot all of his limbs.
Regardless, Eldric leaped forward with his jaws open, faster than William could react to, as he chomped on him, tearing half his body off and swallowing him in one gulp in the blink of an eye.
His teeth and mouth stained with blood as Eldric went ahead to swallow the rest of William’s body without leaving a single piece of it, the sound of bones being broken and chomped on echoing loudly, even as Fiona dropped to the ground.
Swallowing werewolves was banned, but beyond that, Fiona was too stunned to even move, too dazed to think as she realized that William was dead.
She was still staring at her father’s beast when she suddenly watched him open his mouth and throw out the contents of his mouth, which were nothing but pieces of torn flesh and bones that didn’t resemble William, just before he transformed back to his human form.
Wiping off his bloody mouth as he picked off a long coat from one of the bodies on the ground before moving closer to Fiona. freeweɓnovel.cøm
Ignoring Fervor like he was nothing but a speck of dust under his feet, which he didn’t have the strength to kill.
But he had just moved closer when Fiona, with tears running down her face, suddenly screamed at him,
"You killed him! You killed William!" but Eldric couldn’t give her any time to mourn as he immediately responded.
"I wouldn’t have killed him if I didn’t have more than enough evidence that he was the one that scarred you!" Eldric seriously responded.
"You and I know that scarring you was the one way I would never use to punish you!" and as much as Fiona didn’t want to listen, she couldn’t deny the fact of what she knew to be the truth.
"But-but—" she cried, with tears still sliding down her cheeks, even as Eldric interrupted her, shaking his head.
"Come with me! Come back home! Your baby will be fine, and I’ll make sure I find a way to fix your scars!" he said, pulling her up and into a hug for the first time in her life, one that she couldn’t refuse at that moment when her body was broken and her heart seemed to have been ripped out of her chest.
Everything hurt... everything hurt... and she couldn’t stop crying.
Eldric instantly raised his head and sent out a shrill whistle into the air, explaining his actions at the same time, something he had never done before, with a concerned look in his eye as he spoke to Fiona.
"More of my men are still out there! We’ll return, and I promise you’ll get better!" he promised, even as Fervor continued to stand beside Fiona, not having spoken a word or made a single move to stop Eldric from hugging Fiona.
There was no trace of grief on his face, like he had just lost a friend of many years, his gaze as cold and blank as ever, even as he fixed his gaze completely on Fiona without once looking away.
"Fervor, right?" Eldric finally spoke to him when his men arrived in two brand new cars, even as Fervor continued to stare at Fiona.
"I know your story! You can come with us!" Eldric graciously offered, as he realized that although there were cons to having such a cold person beside him, there would also be benefits, making it clear that he had no intention of killing him.
But Eldric had just spoken when the sound of cars could suddenly be heard, driving at such a fast speed that they got to where they were in seconds.
Bodyguards in black got out, with twice as many as Eldric had, which brought a frown to his face as he wondered what was going on.
William was dead, even if the men were his contingency, he couldn’t help but wonder whose orders they were following.
"What’s going on here!" he said, raising his voice with a clearly displeased expression on his face.
He had already transformed once and back to his human form; doing so again wouldn’t be difficult, but he would definitely not be able to use all of his powers, since shifting itself was a strain on the body and wasn’t something to be done more than once in a day.
But Eldric had just asked the question when Fervor, who hadn’t spoken even once before, finally opened his mouth to speak.
"Isn’t it obvious? You killed William, a Werewolf Lord, and as the new Lord, I would be taking this up at the next council meeting!"
Eldric went two shades pale as his mouth dropped, only to snap back to a neutral expression as he stared intensely at Fervor, almost like he was trying to see through the nasty joke he had just uttered.
"What utter nonsense!" Eldric snapped, even though he couldn’t hide the bloodthirsty and killing aura he had around him, prepared to transform at any moment and kill Fervor, who he wished he had killed the moment he killed William.
