Sitting in the dark abyss, the main Dora kept his eyes closed, the system’s ominous message floating before him.

His hands were crossed, and images of a happy past rich in warm moments and humiliations crossed his mind.
He had replaced what he had lost when he reached his final form with this new warmth in his chest, a warmth that conveyed to him what truly mattered to him in this life.
Malia, Wendy, Midgard, Elizabeth, the countryside, Shining Sword, Zuri, all those things that instantly disappeared as soon as he opened his eyes.
He was strong, stronger than anyone who came to him, but no matter when he always lost someone.
"Candace." He opened his eyes.
In front of him, sitting with the chain that bound her movements, Candace looked at him absently. Their gazes met, causing the boy to stare at the ground.
"Say, why is this so hard?" The dean’s voice rang out.
Dora’s eyes turned towards her, the dean showed a look different from her usual behavior. She showed no fear, no anxiety, no anger, only a deep melancholy.
"...Hm?"
"I mean, to kill me."
They looked into each other’s eyes for a moment, then a frown appeared on Dora.
"What?"
Candace hugged her knees together, Her sudden behavior change was putting us on edge.
"I’m just wondering... You said you have your memories, so you’re aware of what you’re doing, right? You’re not a brainwashed Sin anymore... so why? Why is it so difficult?"
Her gaze slowly turned to the side.
"I’m the one responsible for your memory loss, I’m the one who let the fake you take control, and apparently your mother died because of it... Wendy too. I’m at the center of all the miseries you encountered, so why can’t you kill me?"
She remained silent for a few seconds, but only the sound of the void answered her. Eyes fluttering, she forced herself to smile.
"I just don’t understand... The Sin couldn’t hurt me either, and now you... why can’t you attack me? Why do you make me live with this pain?... I feel so..."
"Why is it so hard for everyone to keep quiet?"
She flinched a little then slowly turned towards him. Dora got up, carefully scratching his hair.
"You talk, she talks, everyone keeps talking... why can’t you shut up?! What kind of horror should I show you to shut you up?!"
He made a circle biting his thumbnail, Candace let out a sigh. She cast her tired gaze upwards.
"Are you in a bad mood now? Is it because your better half is busy making babies with two girls every night?"
A light ball grazed her shoulder and disappeared into the void behind her. She stood still for a moment, then looked at him without a trace of fear but with increasing arrogance.
"A little left next time...what’s the problem? You want to kill everyone, don’t you? Maybe they just want to have fun before dying."
Dora gave her a deadly gaze, to which she responded with a mocking stare. He really wanted to crush her but something inside him was still stopping him.
There was nothing he could do and she knew it. She wiped invisible sweat from her forehead with a deep sigh.
"Ah, I was afraid I’d be bored here so I’m glad they’re giving us a good show... but my God... the kids are so scandalous."
Dora sat down heavily, He placed a hand on his face, a yellow glow crossing his fingers.
- You... how many times are you going to do this?!
In the remains of what was once a room and was now in ruins, the fusion Dora flinched.
Outside, the sun was rising, and inside, bodies were falling asleep.
Lilith was lying on the ground and Mercy, beside him, noticed his reaction.
"...What is going on?"
"Problems..."
He quickly got up and, with a snap of his fingers, the room took on a more decent appearance.
"Hey-Hey, yellow, how rare!"
-Did you just use my power for that?
"...Ehm...Well...it’s always a good thing to...check our most unused skills often...isn’t it?"
The scene of Dora being scolded was absurd for the girl sitting on the bed behind it.
Unable to hear the voice in his head, from her perspective it was as if Dora was talking to himself, however, she had become accustomed to his many anomalies so she quickly understood what was happening.
"Why are you so angry? Everything is going according to our plan, and we don’t hate them.... Wait, no, I didn’t, it was just one! Lilith always collapsed before..."
- What if I took your thinking ability to think instead? I don’t want to see my body soiled like this, and I refuse to let anyone have these images of me in their memory! Stop it... Now!
"My... Why is the lazy one the loudest?" A new voice with a familiar tone was heard.
Dora lowered his hand, showing his confused face to Candace.
"What did you just call me?"
Somewhere in the wild, a giant bird stumbled upon an ice crater. Above, Gamma stretched lazily.
"Hm? Is that wrong? I mean, look at this, everyone is busy with a task, everyone is working on something... except you. Why are you so loud when you’re the only one at rest?"
The main Dora’s eyes began to glow, his lower jaw rubbing against his upper jaw.
"Is this some kind of joke? Are you all stupid? You’re nothing but parts of me! You’re just a division of my mind! Everything you do is my will, My wishes are your commands... Your conscience is a privilege that I can withdraw at any time."
A silence settled for a few seconds, the message was transmitted to all the personas and the change of the one next to Mercy was both a warning, but also valuable information.
Gamma watched the sun rise over the horizon, slowly pointing his finger toward the horizon.
"So... you’re the one who rocked Mercy’s world, congratulation."
He fired a giant laser beam illuminating the earth and resulting in a gigantic explosion of ice.
The fusion Dora chuckled and forced himself not to laugh, and Omega never participated in a conversation he didn’t care about.
Dora’s face showed deep confusion as he lowered his hand. He looked at the palms of his trembling hands, completely defeated.
Up front, Candace was the only outside testimony on stage.
She watched carefully as the boy slowly lost control of his small army, but something about him kept troubling her.
He clenched his fists and closed his eyes, whispering words she couldn’t ignore.
"...Allow it... this is only temporary... they are stupid, so they can manipulate them better."
His hand on his chest, his eyes returned to their previous white color.
"I can’t put my faith in anyone, even myself. We all share the same memory, but I am the only one who suffers from it."
This whole scene played out in front of Mercy and Candace, both observing a different Dora’s point of view and given different pieces of a gigantic puzzle, but this small conclusion turned into a common reasoning born in their minds :
(...They don’t obey him...they have their own will...so maybe...maybe I could...turn them against him?)
