System's POV-Chapter 988: Welcome To My World [Part 1]
The Army from the Garuda Empire was a force many factions in Gomorra didn't want to face.
Their race was composed of Jinns and Majins that specialized in flight, allowing them to raid any location that wasn't deep under the ground or under the sea.
Their ability to attack from the sky gave them a massive advantage over their foes. And over time, they had expanded their domain and became one of the four empires in the Central Continent of Gomorra.
Leading them was their Crown Prince, Zepharion Raazim, a very proficient general. Of course, his officers were also well-versed in the art of war, allowing them to form elite squadrons that specialized in divide and conquer tactics.
Right now, they were leading a coalition of their race and four other Factions in Gomorra that had decided to form an alliance with them.
After the Summit of Conquerors ended, the different factions decided to attack in different locations in order to conquer the Cygni Continent as quickly as possible.
With five Rank 9 Sovereigns and over a dozen Rank 8 Sovereigns under their command, nearly all of them believed the battle was already as good as won.
The Skavari, House Pavareth, Azrakith Court, and Velmoria Kingdom had also formed an alliance and were currently heading Northwest.
Knowing that, Prince Zepharion had chosen to attack the Southwest, clearly targeting the most fertile lands of the continent.
The other Factions were also going to attack in other locations, which they believed would collapse the defensive formation of the Wanderers, allowing them to sweep in and go for the kill.
Renz Elrod had already learned of the monsters' pending attack from Zion, who also sent him the necessary satellite images to review.
"I'll deal with the Garuda Empire that is going to break through from the Southeast. I leave the defense of the central plains and the northern regions to you. Renz, remember this—if you are unable to repel them, immediately order the defenders to retreat." Those were the words that Thirteen left him, and Renz had taken his words seriously.
From the get-go, the overwhelming power of the Jinn Armies was truly impossible to stop. At least, that was true a few years ago. But now, Renz already knew what to do.
"Grand Commander, reports are coming in from the north, center, and south. A large number of monsters are heading in their direction," one of Renz's Aides in the command center reported. "They are asking for orders."
"Tell them to hold the line for as long as possible," Renz ordered. "The Death Reapers are already in place. Lastly, give the commanding officer the right to order a full retreat once the Jinns break past their defensive lines."
"Yes, Sir!"
Renz gave similar orders to the other cities at the front of their defensive formation.
After careful consideration, he decided to let the defenders do a full retreat and abandon the city once the Death Reapers had finished their mission.
"Sir Douglas, Sir Trevor, and Wendell, please head to the City of Felecia," Renz ordered. "Hold the line for as long as possible. Sir Owaine, Sir Liam, Sir Dave, Sir John, and Sir Logan, please assist them in dealing with the enemies."
The team that comprised of the three Monarchs and five Thrones was the strongest attack force of the Alliance.
They were meant to face the greatest threats of the battlefield, allowing their allies to escape when needed.
"Judging by your plan, we are going to let go of the Northern Cities?" Douglas inquired.
"Yes," Renz replied. "But we'll make sure to deal as much damage as possible to the Jinns before we do our retreat. The Death Reapers will fulfill their mission." frёeweɓηovel.coɱ
Douglas nodded because even they knew the fight in the central plains wouldn't be easy.
A massive army of ten Jinn Factions was headed to their main defensive lines with the intention to obliterate any and all who stood in their way. At the bare minimum, they would have at least ten Rank 9 Sovereigns and over twenty Rank 8 Sovereigns.
The Wanderers had already anticipated that they would be at a great disadvantage. But after receiving Zion's report, they fully realized how hopeless their situation was.
However, the teenage boy promised them that, even if the Jinns were to push the Alliance to the western edges of the continent, he would grant them victory.
Or at least, a victory that everyone could accept.
From the get-go, the Alliance had steeled themselves and planned to use the Scorched Earth Tactics against the Jinn Armies as their way of defiance against their invasion.
"How long until their armies reach our defensive formations?" Renz asked.
"Two days at the minimum, Sir," the Aide reported. "If we are lucky, it might take them three to four more days due to the size of their armies."
Just as Renz was about to give an order, another personnel member inside the Command Center gave his report.
"Sir, massive energy fluctuations have been sensed in the Planar Mountain Range," the Aide stated. "A battle is going underway, but we don't have any forces stationed at that location."
The corner of Renz's lips rose up because his Aide was right.
Technically, they had no armies positioned in the Planar Mountain Range, which used the natural terrain as a fortress.
However, there was one crazy teenage boy who had picked this location to build a slaughterhouse, which would shred the Jinn Armies to pieces.
"You can ignore the battle at the Planar Mountain Range," Renz stated. "Our Supreme Commander is currently there to hold back the enemy's advance."
When the Monarchs and the Thrones heard Renz's statement, they felt a little worried because Zion was a very important strategic asset to humanity.
If something happened to him, then this already hopeless war no longer needed to be fought.
"I know what all of you are thinking," Renz said to the people inside the Command Center. "But have you forgotten who the Supreme Commander is? Do you really think he's that stupid to fight a battle if he has no hope of winning?"
As if to make his point, the Grand Commander rested his chin on the back of his hand.
"You should pity the Jinns who are fighting him instead," Renz added. "They are going to experience firsthand the secret weapon of humanity."
Everyone in the room glanced at each other.
For some reason, they couldn't refute Renz's statement. Indeed, Zion Leventis had already shown them several miracles, and they believed that another miracle would happen very soon.

Planar Mountain Range…
"Your Highness, we can't break through their defenses!" a Giant Griffin reported to Prince Zepharion.
Prince Zepharion clicked his tongue. Even from a distance, he could tell that their armies wouldn't be able to pass through the Planar Mountain Range so easily.
Countless Bombardier Beetles and Blister Bugs unleashed a bombardment that took their vanguard by surprise, making the Prince of the Garuda Empire lose face.
As much as possible, he didn't want to command his Rank 9 Sovereigns to mobilize. He believed that doing so would make him the laughing stock of the other factions, who would mock him for using brute force in the early days of the invasion.
He didn't want to be labeled as an incompetent General, but seeing that the enemy's defenses were rock solid, he had no choice but to mobilize his trump cards.
"Send the Disaster Orc and the Sky Python to annihilate these rebels!" Prince Zepharion ordered.
After giving his order, a ten-meter-tall Black Orc carrying two War Axes took a step forward.
The Sky Python, which was at least a hundred meters long, flapped its wings and unleashed a screech toward the Planar Mountains, where the Defenders were currently at.
Thirteen, standing at the peak of the mountain, overlooked the battlefield and watched as the two Rank 9 Monsters made their way to the front lines.
"Gramps, Zed, and Evuvug, you will deal with the Sky Python," Thirteen ordered. "Apoc Rangers and Khan, all of you will deal with Disaster Orc."
Thirteen then glanced at his monster army and pointed his finger at the combined Army of the Jinn Alliance.
"Do you see all those Jinns over there?" Thirteen asked.
The Monsters under his command all nodded.
"Well, I don't want to see them," Thirteen ordered. "Get them out of my sight!"
As soon as the teenage boy finished talking, the massive Insectoid Army, the Apes, and the Monkeys all mobilized to defend the Planar Mountain Range and annihilate as many enemies as possible.
