The Alpha: Claiming His Enemy's Daughter-Chapter 965: THE FINAL BATTLE (31)
Chapter 965: THE FINAL BATTLE (31)
After the disaster, Hanna and Will returned to Crystal Moon pack, along with Sabian and Nala, the two of them couldn’t come with Lou and Sabian was needed in this pack to help Will to handle the matter here.
The decision for Will to go back was because they needed someone to have their eyes on the matter with the merchant in the harbor and because at that time Cane had gone missing, thus the decision was made by Jace with the suggestion from Lou.
Therefore, the first person Jace and Ethan came to when they arrived at Golden Light pack was the two of them.
It was not that hard to look for them and the moment Will heard about their arrival, he actually waited for them to show up.
"Where is Aliana? Do you know where is she?" Jace and Ethan came with the same question, which made Will chuckled. He was so glad to see the gamma and the beta. He thought, he really lost them.
"Come here," Will said, he escorted them inside to one of the inns in the pack, because the pack house was crowded with people, who sought for shelters and Aliana came after them, so they couldn’t spare her and the rest of the people that came with her anymore space.
"Aliana is here?" Ethan was surprised they didn’t need to take more time to look for her. Thing had been very harsh lately and the moment he learned Aliana might in danger, he felt like everything had been dragging unnecessarily.
"She came around ten days ago before you, with her was the people from Golden Light pack, the Serafim and the three elders," Will replied.
"The elders?" Jace frowned.
"I thought they were dead." Ethan didn’t look happy to think that the elders were with Aliana all this time. "I wish they were dead."
"Apparently they survived." Will then revealed to them that Abby had given birth to a baby girl. "What about the luna?"
"She will give birth anytime soon," Jace informed him.
"Yeah, and the alpha guarded her all the time." Ethan slowly returned to his chatter self, as he knew Aliana was fine, she was alive and fine and that was all he needed to be his bright self again. His gloomy day had ended.
The three of them headed toward the inn, there were so many people on the street and you could feel the tension in the air.
However, Ethan was engulfed with the happiness of meeting with Aliana again, thus he was not really affected by their gloomy mood.
And the first scene he saw when they found her at the backyard of the inn was Aliana, who held a little baby in her arms, while talking to Abby and Hanna.
The sight struck Ethan and he felt this warm that flooded in his veins. She looked... astounding. The way she stared at the baby, it almost felt like she was overflooded by her motherly instinct.
Jace was the first, who approached Aliana and she noticed him almost immediately. Abby immediately took her baby from her arms, so she could hug her brother.
"Jace!" Aliana rushed toward Jace and hugged him tightly, she cried so hard to finally meet with her brother again when she thought she had lost him, especially when he saw Ethan was there too. Tears couldn’t stop running down her cheeks, as he saw the two of them were alive.
Jace couldn’t help, but hugged his little sister tightly. He couldn’t imagine if he had to lose her too. And after Aliana reassured Jace that she was fine, she approached Ethan, who rooted to the ground.
"Don’t you want to hug me? You don’t seem enthusiastic about seeing me again, or maybe..."
Before Aliana could finish her words, Ethan had pulled her body against his and kissed her so hard, which caught her out of guard and Jace’s jaw dropped. He really wanted to kick the gamma on the butt, but instead, he chose to turn his head from this sight.
It was really not easy to watch how your little sister was being kissed like that.
Meanwhile, Aliana didn’t mind at all, she could feel the desperation that Ethan had, in which he couldn’t convey in words.
He could feel his pain when he thought he had lost her, because she also felt the same way for months when there was not a single information about their well beings after they left for capital city.
Seeing this interaction, Hanna chuckled, as she hugged Will and Abby made a small talk with Jace.
"Where is my missy?" Hanna asked Jace excitedly.
They went to the capital city to look for the alpha and the luna and the fact they were here, it meant, they had succeeded to find them, right?
"She is fine, currently the luna is with the alpha."
And while they were reuniting with their fellow pack member, there was another person, who reunited with the one that he cared the most, or it should be said as two...
Because all the warriors from the Blue Moon pack that he brought with him had died and he was the only survivor, thus Redmond didn’t have anyone to go to, aside from them...
Sofia and his little son...
The woman was sitting with two toddlers, who were laughing, playing something on the ground. She looked so much different from the last time Redmond saw her, as if there was a tremendous change about her.
Sofia looked calm and more mature, she looked after the two toddlers with gentle eyes. It seemed she had embraced her role as a mother very well now.
For a moment, Redmond was stunned, he couldn’t help, but stared at her for a long time, until Sofia actually noticed his presence when the wind carried his scent and this made her startled.
Sofia lifted her head and when her eyes met with his, she simply couldn’t form a word. A year. It almost a year since the last time they met and when she heard a lot of things that had gone wrong in the war, she lost hope to see him again.
It was hard to hold onto a hope that one day they would meet with each other again.
More so, the relationship between them was not clear, she also didn’t think it was alright for her to hold onto this feeling.
However, when Redmond walked toward her, Sofia couldn’t understand why she was crying. She felt her heart was being squeezed and she didn’t know what to do.
Was it alright to hug him? Was it alright to tell him that she missed him and how glad she was to see him again?
But, Redmond was the first one, who took the first step, as he knelt down in front of her and hugged her. He gave her a light kiss on the forehead, while saying softly. "I missed you and the kids."
Meanwhile, the toddlers stopped playing, they blinked their eyes to see their mother was crying and this strange man that consoled her.
On the other hand, Iris was going into a labor and the alpha looked so grim.
