Cravenhall is the most elite school in Harland so only the smartest and richest people can attend there. They are not only taught about the normal academic curriculum but they are also taught how to control their power and for some student who born as Creator they were thought how to harness their ability.

However, for normal students, they are given the option to take extra classes, be it science, sports, or arts programs. Whatever it is, the school will facilitate it as much as possible. Therefore, no one will be left out unless they choose to do so like Lory, Lucas, Jay, and Clift.

For all students who excel in their fields will be given support and guarantees of a bright future. Because of that the competition is tight and students are expected to work hard not only in studying but also in the fields they study, this also applies to Lory and Lucas.

However, as descendants of Lucient, Lory and Lucas have responsibilities that other children do not have, therefore the school gives them the privilege of not taking extracurricular classes or skipping school, but with the condition that their grades must not be below the top ten, this is to maintain fairness with other students who study hard every day.

Lory stood on a large wooden board attached to the wall. On the board was written the ranking list of all students in the school this year. The top five ranks were written in gold ink while the sixth to tenth ranks were written in silver ink, indicating the differences between the top ten students with other students who were written in regular black ink.

"Is your name written in ink or silver ink?" Zhao Li Xin teased.

Lory puffed her chest "I alwyas in gold ink of course, but Lucas once kicked from top five to six place because he make mistake in the written test and Fred never let him forget about it" she laughs the let out a long exhales "Anyway, it’s not an option for us, if we not in top five it will be hard to asked for sudden leave from the school"

"Do you often take sudden leave?" Zhao Li Xin was amazed to know how much trouble Lory and Lucas had to go through just to leave school, unlike the royal princes in his world, those useless princes could come and go whenever they liked and no one would dare to say anything unless the Emperor reprimanded them directly.

This situation is made worse by how Lory and Lucas were raised in the Cestine Palace. As a result, Lory and Lucas grew up more mature and wiser than their peers, which caused them to have nothing in common with their classmates. In the end, Lory and Lucas only hung out with Clift and Jay.

Lory pull Zhao Li Xin in front of a glass cabinet that contained many trophies, souvenirs, and photos of previous students, some of the photos were also quite old and the edges were slightly damaged from being burned but were left without being reprinted, it seemed like the school deliberately left it like that to preserve the memory as it is.

Lory suddenly rubbed her stomach. "Wait, I need to go to the bathroom." He looked around to find the toilet. "Do you have a stomachache?" Zhao Li Xin frowned in worry. "It’s okay, maybe because I ate too much candy before breakfast, wait for me here!" Lory walked towards the toilet, leaving Zhao Li Xin shaking his head in amusement.

Zhao Li Xin stared at each photo on the shelf when his eyes stopped on a photo that was partially burned at the edges but the woman in the photo was still clearly visible. The woman sat gracefully on a wooden chair with both of her hands neatly placed on her lap as she stared elsewhere.

"She’s beautiful, isn’t she?"

Zhao Li Xin was to immersed in the picture he didn’t notice someone come beside him, luckily there are no malice intent so he didn’t accidently released his qi.

"Sorry to startle you, my name is Alice Swieth, I am a teacher at this school, are you an alumni of this school or perhaps a family member of one of the students here?" The woman was in her early thirties, she got dark brown skin with beautiful brown curly hair and droopy blue eyes that make her look a bit mellow.

Zhao Li Xin usually didn’t care about strangers who greeted him out of nowhere. Still, knowing that the woman was a teacher at Lory’s previous school, he restrained himself from treating her rudely as usual.

"No, I just accompanied my wife to visit her old school," Zhao Li Xin answered truthfully.

The woman face instantly beamed with delight, "Really, what’s her name, we might knew each other?"

Zhao Li Xin couldn’t reveal Lory’s real name so she had to use one of Lory’s pseudonym but which one? He hesitated for a second before he speak, "Um, her name is Raven, Raven Jane"

"Jane?" The woman frowned then sigh in disappointment "I never knew anyone with that name before, perhaps your wife never in the same class as me, oh whatever, it’s good to know alumni is visiting the school" she smiled brightly.

Zhao Li Xin didn’t say anything and then turned to the picture inside the cabinet. Alice thought the man might be interested in the picture, "That Princess Lorient picture when she gives the award to the winner of the international mock battle competition against schools from abroad, it’s a tight battle, thank goodness our school won otherwise it would be very embarrassing for us to lose in our own school"

"Why didn’t Princess Lorient participate?" Zhao Li Xin knew Lory’s abilities so he felt strange that Lory didn’t participate.

"A mock battle is very dangerous so it’s not strange that every competition there are students who get injured that’s why the Harland royal family is not allowed to participate, they said it was a safety measure for the royal family..." Alice said in mocking tone.

"You don’t believe their reason?" Zhao Li Xin look at the woman inquisitively.

Zhao Li Xin could not imagine how in one day Lory witnessed the destruction of her kingdom, followed by the death of her father and uncles, and at the same time shouldering the responsibility of protecting the lives of millions of her people. "Li Xin?" Lory called out in a cheerful voice.

"Good evening, I’m the science teacher, my name is alice Swieth, how do you do?" she extended her hand for a handshake.

Her classmates used to make fun of her last name which sounded like ’sweet’. It used to bother her when she was young but not anymore, "Yes, Swieth like sweet," she playfully said.

Lory looking at Alice face and then smile. "It’s a lovely name, it sounds like my favorite thing, though."

Alice paused for a few seconds before she was startled by the ringing of the phone. Lory took out her phone and her eyebrows furrowed.

"Excuse me, I have to take this." Lory politely excused herself.

"Of course, have a nice day," Alice replied kindly.

Lory give polite nod then she left with Zhao Li Xin and for a long moment Alice stare at Lory’s back untill Lory’s figure dissapeared, later on the memmory from the past came uninvitedly.

’Your last name Swieth?’

’...Y - yes your higness’

’Oh...I like it, it’s sound like my favorite thing~’

Alice lifted her head to stop her tears from falling. It happened so long ago but she still remembered it clearly as if it was yesterday. It happened on a day like this when the sky turned orange and most of the students had already left school. She was in the library avoiding people who were making fun of her last name as usual then she accidentally push her notes from the tabble and all her notes scatter on the floor.

Suddenly a beautiful woman with long bluish hair and eyes that reminded her of amethyst gemstones kindly help her picked up her notes then she accidentally read her name written on the note.

’Your last name Swieth?’ she asked while returning her notes.

Alice used to hate her last name, because everyone made fun of her family name, she even begged his parents to change his last name, but after that day he learned to love her last name, eventually love her family even more.
