Lumen’s consciousness was sucked away from his meditation was he was forced into viewing an unfamiliar memory once again.

"I feel this warm flow of Cosmic Energy flowing through me, master!", The young man exclaimed out loud as he sat in obedience in front of his master and listened to his instructions down to every detail.

"Good, you have some talent to you boy. Now, focus on circulating this Cosmic Energy all throughout your body, penetrating deep into your root meridians. Be sure to maintain the utmost concentration during this process as any single mistake could result in serious injuries if you aren’t careful." A middle aged man adorning unshaven stubble on his stern face replied back to the young man as he guided him along the correct path.

As the man spoke, he provided the young man with the necessary knowledge on the location and type of root meridians to ensure that no accidents occur within the young fellow.

After a few hours of constant circulation, sweat had long perspired on the youth’s whole face as he finally completed the cycle as his master had instructed.

"This circulation of Cosmic Energy will create an effective cycle of replenishment for your mana, as well as providing you with slight increases in your overall mana pool the more you cultivate it. Be sure to practise it without fail every day if you want to progress far along the path of cultivation, boy."

What the middle aged master was teaching the young man was a cultivation technique, used to circulate the Cosmic Energy that invaded every part of the universe and accumulate it within one’s own body.

This cultivation technique is what allows every cultivator in the known universes to increase their power and control over the forces and is the starting point for everyone who wants to walk on this path.

As the young man finished his cultivation session, the scene started to fade until it was eventually replaced with darkness.

The moment the scene finished, Lumen returned back to his own mind and body as he spent the first couple of seconds readjusting to his situation from the unexpected out of body experience.

But afterwards, he immediately entered back into his meditative state as he envisioned the words of the middle aged man clearly in his mind regarding the circulation of Cosmic Energy.

He had a feeling that his own human body would be identical to that of humans in his old universe, and so decided that he wanted to take the risk and attempt to replicate the same process the master student duo had using his own mana.

Just like the previous time he meditated, the warm flow of mana circulated throughout his body once again. Only this time it followed a different flow, one that followed the path of root meridians set out by the master in the memory.

As soon as the mana hit the first root meridian, it was as if a feeling of something previously being blockaded being completely cleared. The closest thing he could compare it to would be finally clearing one’s sinuses after a long period of illness.

A feeling of freedom overwhelmed Lumen, nearly causing him to lose his focus and concentration on the first root meridian.

Following this guideline, Lumen repeated the same process for the next 6 hours and finally completed the circulation of mana when the final root meridian was conquered.

The moment he felt the completion of the rotation of mana all throughout his body, many things occurred within him that greatly surprised him.

He found it hard to explain, but it was like he had increased the perceptiveness of each of his senses, the most affected being his range of perception. He could more clearly hear the rustling of the leaves, see each and every detail of the environment around him down to the microscopic level, smell a combination of odours that he had never experienced before.

He had received an overstimulation in all of his senses at once, if he still had the stats and abilities of a normal person he would probably have died on the spot the moment these senses were enhanced.

Although he could now essentially feel every aspect of the environment surrounding him, he suppressed the effect of most of his senses other than hearing and sight as he could feel his mental energy draining at light speed while each of his senses was maxed out.

He was unable to judge how the completion of his mana circuit affected his other abilities but surprisingly he checked his notifications and saw that the system had done it for him!

His shock obviously came not only from the rarity of the skill, matching that of his strongest skill obtained during evolution, but also from the effects of the technique.

These were only the effects the skill provided while the skill was at level 1 as well, he could only imagine how much more overpowered this skill would be as he levelled it up more and more.

Armed with his new skill, Lumen arose from his meditation to find that the sun was rising and light was returning back to the forest.

His eyesight was so good now from the enhancement from his evolution and the newly created Mana Circulation technique that he had barely even noticed the difference between night and day until he saw the sun in the sky.
