Over the week, Zaroth got a pretty good idea of the way the city outline was structured.

Most of the buildings he could visit had already been explored, so Zaroth knew where to go if he desired a meal—along with a drink or two… or ten.

"So two steaks and one breaded cheese for you," the waiter spoke as he wrote down the order on his notebook and then gazed at Eldros.

"Five steaks, two large portions of fries, three eggs, and two breaded cheeses," Eldros replied.

The waiter quickly wrote that down and went towards the next table, meanwhile Zaroth was gazing at Eldros with an unreadable expression.

"What?" Eldros asked like he had just done the most natural thing in the world.

'Is this fool acting like an idiot or is he really just that dumb?' Zaroth wondered.

"What do you mean what?! I understand that some people need more food than normal to function, but this is just ridiculous! It's like you are the manifestation of the gluttony sin!" he complained. "Do you even have any idea how much this is going to cost?! After purchasing you, my funds have been on life support! Do you wish to deal the final blow?!"

Crossing his arms, Eldros shrugged. "Well, this power has to come from somewhere, no? Not to mention having a slave is expensive, as you have to feed them if you don't want them to starve to death."

For a moment, Zaroth wondered if it was worth it to explode right here, but in the end decided it wasn't, as this was going to attract too much attention to them.

'And it's not like we will be here for that long. Once the elf is mine, or at least indebted to me somehow, then I will destroy the city and will begin to wreak havoc in the empire. Midnight might start to feel bored in the city if I don't hurry,' he thought.

"All this food, yet if we fight, you will not have a chance against me!" Zaroth taunted, wanting to vent his frustration somehow.

A smirk appeared on Eldros's face, "That is true. As such, if you don't want me to remain so weak, I have to eat more!"

Honestly, Zaroth could have continued this argument, but there was no point in it anyway. No, the truth was it didn't feel right. Eldros must be acting this way because when he had been locked in that dark cell with only minimal food, he could have gone insane—if he wasn't already.

Deep down, there was a primal hunger in Eldros that made him want to eat as much as possible, afraid that this moment of abundance would someday end. His body and mind were simply capitalizing on the situation.

'It must have been horrible to live as a slave. I have yet to ask him any details about the matter or his past, as it feels too soon. It isn't the time to remind him of those horrible memories. Maybe once the matter with the elf is resolved and the city has been destroyed will be the right time to talk about the matter,' Zaroth thought.

'No, right now we are at a bar; this isn't the place for these feelings!' he realized.

"Well, you certainly might be able to eat a lot." With a smirk, Zaroth slammed down a cup of beer on the table.

"But what about drinking? Will you be able to outdrink me?" he challenged.

It had been some time since he had gotten properly drunk, and now that he had a person he could get hammered with, he wasn't going to let the chance slip by!

In a brightly lit room, a man with an eyepatch was smoking a cigarette.

The surroundings were loud, with music blaring throughout the space.

He was surrounded by several stunning women, all of them were topless as they danced, trying to seduce the man before them.

Blondes, brunettes, small breasts, large ones—it didn't matter what they looked like. The one thing they all had in common was that they were so stunning, so seductive, that any man would be eager to bow at their feet for the chance to be with them.

The one on his right picked up a cup of strong whiskey that had been left on the table and handed it to him.

"Sir Henry, would you care for a drink?"

Her gesture was as seductive as possible, her body pressed tightly against his as her delicate finger went down his scarred face until they slowly reached his heavy beard.

With a scoff, he moved his hand and picked up the cup. Without hesitation, he proceeded to drink the entirety of its contents.

"Oh! This is the life, I tell you!" he proclaimed as he gazed at the ceiling. Seeing the chance, the woman that had handed him the drink sat upon his lap as she began to move her body delicately, trying to keep him entertained.

Henry silently appreciated her beauty and the way she was giving it her all just to serve him. After a few minutes, he finally made his decision.

"You can leave," he spoke addressing the other women, and with no questions asked, they nodded and got out of his view.

That left Henry alone with the woman that was sitting and dancing on his lap.

"Do you know who I am?" he asked.

"Of course." During the whole time, she never slowed down her movements nor did her smile disappear. "You are the leader of the Outlaws and one of the members of the Council of the Crimson Sun empire," she answered.

"That is right." A smile appeared on his scarred face as he gently grabbed her neck and moved his thumb next to her lips, appreciating their softness.

"And if you can describe me in one word, how would you do it?" he asked.

Seeing what he wanted her to do, she bit lightly on his thumb as she parted her lips.

"Dangerous," she answered.

"Correct," he replied as he placed a hand behind her waist and guided her body to curve, moving closer to him.

Once her breasts pressed against his chest, he moved his mouth to her ear, whispering something.

"And knowing all of that, you still are foolish enough to try and poison me…" His voice was soft, but his words carried a deadly edge. "You are one foolish girl."

The woman's heart felt like it was about to burst, her body shivered, her forehead became drenched in sweat. With her eyes widened in horror, she objected, "No, I—"

But before she could finish, her body collapsed on his, lifeless—no heartbeat, no breathing.

With a sigh of regret, the man pushed her to the ground, making a heavy thud as she fell.

"This is indeed sad. You could have blossomed into a beautiful flower… only to end up like this."

Henry didn't need to do much. He gazed at one of the men nearby acting like a guard, and the body of the woman disappeared. Not long after, another batch of women came out, trying to seduce him.

'Ah, it's no good. These women don't excite me anymore… At least I can look forward to tomorrow. Then, I'll finally have that elf. I wonder how she tastes?' he thought, a twisted smile spreading across his face.
