Chapter 53: Execution 2

"I think it is Arin’s brother," Stephen said cautiously.

"The guy who beat you up?" The young master knew of Arin’s brother.

Supposedly, Arin’s brother had beaten Stephen and injured his people. He was waiting for a chance to return the favour. But what does it have to do with the attack against them?

"Yes," Stephen said, his voice trembling. He was sweating profusely.

"Why? And how do you know it?"

"I am not sure." He said and went silent.

"JUST SPEAK. Damned bastard." The young master shouted, his cheeks trembling in anger.

Stephen was wasting time acting like a coward. The young master didn’t seem to like that.

He was about to step forward and give him a slap across his face.

Fortunately, the young master was slow. Stephen quickly stepped back in panic and dodged the slap.

"No, wait." He screamed. "I know. Wait." He said, and when he saw the young man was trembling in anger.

"Young master. Let him speak." The scar-faced man quickly came to mediate the situation.

Stephen was one of their own. He couldn’t let the young master beat him up.

"Yes, what I was saying was is. Before the attacks, I saw Arin’s brother loitering near our bases. I asked some of my friends to follow him, but they lost track of him."

"That doesn’t mean anything. And even if it did, do you think just an eighteen-year-old kid could beat us all?" The scar-faced man asked before the young master could be angry.

"There’s more. One day, he forced me to drive him around the city. I noticed all the locations were near M-Fresh affiliates or stores."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes," Stephen said, his voice firm. He’d stake his life on it.

The last few words from Stephen aroused their suspicion. Although they didn’t fully believe what he was saying, they knew there was something more to this.

"Do you have any proof?" The scar-faced man asked in a hurry.

"No." Stephen’s voice was barely audible when he said it.

There was no way he could get any proof.

Oliver was a lone wolf. Family was the only thing he cared about, and nobody could tell him what to do. It was impossible to get a hold of someone like that.

"YOU!" Hearing that he had no proof, the young master’s face turned red. His head was literally steaming as his chubby fist tightened.

"YOU DAMNED BITCH." He loudly roared and kicked at Stephen.

Stephen used some mana and telekinetic ability to deflect the force from the kick. Still, he felt a tremendous amount of pain travel through his shin.

"Aw!" He screamed and knelt.

"Wait a minute. I know where he might attack next." Suddenly, Stephen roared.

Hugging his leg pathetically, Stephen knelt on the ground and begged for mercy. The young master was weak. But the people he had in his control were ruthless. They could kill him if he didn’t answer properly.

"Where?" The high-pitched voice of the young master resounded within the room.

"M-fresh store on Bronze Street. North of the residential area." He immediately said.

"Why do you think so?"

"Because the order in which the attack was made is similar to the path we took."

"Why do you think he is attacking us?" The young master asked gloomily.

"..."

Stephen didn’t dare to reply. There was no question about why he was attacking them. It was all became of the damned young master and his fragile ego.

Stephen and his team of bullies were ordered to attack Arin because the young master didn’t like the way Arin received female attention.

The chubby, less handsome, less intelligent, untalented, and egotistical youngmaster did not like someone better than him being in the same class. And instead of trying to be better, the young master hired the bullies to attack Arin and destroy his school life.

He partially achieved that.

Before Oliver beat up the bullies, no one except Wonjun even tried to maintain their friendship with Arin. The ladies that chased his were scared away, and he lost many fake friends during that time.

If not for Oliver, it would have continued the same way until his death.

"Speak." The young master ordered.

"Maybe it was because we bullied his brother?" Stephen tried to be as diplomatic as he could.

"So, are you saying that I am reason?"

"No, young master. Of course not."

"Then who is it?"

"It’s me. I am the reason."

"Good that you know that. I will make you pay for the losses my family sustained at a later time."

"Yes."

"You would have to work for us until you pay back all financial losses." The young master raised his nose and said. His haughty air and chubby frame created a bizarre contrast.

"Yes." Stephen agreed without hesitation because it was the only thing he could do.

"So, young master. Should we go to the bronze street to guard the store?" The Scarface asked.

"NO. You don’t need to do anything." The young master shouted. "What could you possibly do to stop him?" Then he turned to Stephen.

"Young master, if we gather there..."

"NO means a NO. Let him come. I don’t want you to scare off my prey." The young master’s lips curled into a smile.

According to him, it would a be a loss if Oliver didn’t come to steal.

"Do you know anything else, Stephen?" He asked.

"No." He shook his head.

"Okay, let me go back and report this to my father. I will catch and skin that crazy son of bitch." The young master walked out of the hall joyfully.

Meanwhile, Stephen heaved a sigh of relief.

The scar-faced man lifted him from the ground and helped him stand.

"Is the info you gave correct?" He asked quietly.

"Hm..." Stephen nodded. frёeωebɳovel.com

"How sure are you?"

"Highly probable."

"You know what would happen if it isn’t, right?"

"Hm."

"I won’t be able to save you then."

"Hm." Stephen let out a dejected sigh.

It’s not like he had any choice.
