" A mirror ?"

Kailen stood in a large space before a gigantic mirror.

He tried to peer through the void, yet his effort proved futile.

The only thing he could see was the large mirror.

As Kailen stared at his reflection in the mirror, an expression of contempt appeared on the image’s face.

" This..." Kailen was surprised " When did I make that expression?"

Before Kailen could process what was going on, the image ,his reflection, raised it’s middle figure ,boasting a maniacal grin on it’s face.

"Huh. I see.Clearly this is not my reflection in the mirror. A reflection is supposed to mimick the movements of the actual object, and yet this fellow is doing the opposite "

Suddenly, the reflection of Kailen in the mirror started to speak " You are the reason why they died. You useless piece of trash.

So what if you are strong now? It’s not like you can bring them back. Atone for their deaths by killing yourself. You murderer"

The words spoken by the reflection of Kailen in the mirror struck him like a lightning bolt,carrying some sort of controlling power.

It was as if the moment Kailen heard those words , the words had some sort of charm and control that was manipulating his will to start believing what the reflection was saying.

This was not a matter of being convinced by the words of the reflection in the mirror , this was something akin to Kailen being mind controlled or something.

A motion of Kailen’s parents , a dark haired man with blood tracing down his mouth ,and that of a white skinned woman, a velvet haired beauty with blood gushing out of her neck, appeared in the mirror.

The two individuals looked at Kailen with contempt "We died because of you! We died because of you!. Had we not decided to go to New York City because of you, we would not have died "

Kailen stared panting , then started mumbling to himself " I killed them, I’m the reason why they died.. I should kill myself"

" Yes you killed them. You killed mum and dad, you bastard. You killed them, you little shit!"

Kailen’s eyes were turning blood shot ,as blood was spewing out of his ears and mouth. His skin turned deathly pale. And his breathing grew ragged.

" Look at your hands , their blood is on your hands "

Kailen under the manipulative spell or whatever you’d call it ,of the reflection, stared at his hands ,drenched in cold blood.

" What the hell is happening to me?"

Kailen eyes widened, his breathing calming down . The time dilation artifact’s words seemed to have some sort of calming impact on him, serving as some sort of some redemptive element that snapped him out of the mind control.

The mirror along with this reflection, his parents accusing him of their deaths, the blood oozing out of his orifices and his blood stained hands, the paleness of his complexion, dissapeared.

" That was terrifying !. I didn’t even realize how I lost control of my self . The tenth level of the university tower is extremely terrifying!".

Kailen was shocked at the time Dilation artifact’s words. There were indeed awakeners on earth who awakened the illusion affinity. However mind control was something he was not sure existed on the planet .

And to think what he had just experienced was nothing compared the monstousity of this spectral race?
