<Ding!>

<You've been granted: Access to the Depths>

<Access to the Depths: Freely open a portal to and from the Depths from any location. Must be out of combat. A maximum of 15 people may enter at a time.>

Rael's eyes widened. "But I thought...?"

"You thought well." Zarkul chuckled. "There will be a problem if a bunch of people enter all at once, so I've limited it to 15 for the time being."

"What if I try taking someone out of the Depths using this?" Rael asked, pointing at the pop-up.

"Sadly, you can't bring them back to their own worlds as they'll go to where you were," Zarkul replied. "Every time you use the portal, you'll return to the exact same spot. So if you use the portal to go back now, you'll reappear in that bathroom, and if you go back through, you'll appear in the spot you're standing currently."

Rael's brows twitched. "How do you know I was inside a bathroom?"

"Just a guess," Zarkul replied with a shrug. "But aside from that, I managed to connect with the quest you were talking about. I also found out who assigned it."

Who assigned it...?

Before Rael could speak, Zarkul swiftly snapped his fingers, causing multiple pop-ups to appear in front of Rael.

<Long Main Quest—[Find the Beast (Level ???) | Part-3 Unlocked!]>

<Note: Entry limit has been removed! You may enter and continue the quest whenever you wish!>

<Note 2: Find the Beast (Level ???) | Part-3 Recommended Level: 400>

"It should've updated, yes?" Zarkul asked, earning a nod from Rael in response. "Good. I'll give you an actual quest once you come back."

"I see... but who assigned the quest to me? It sounds like you weren't the one who did it," Rael asked.

"It's a very mischievous being," Zarkul remarked with a faint smile. "He's sadly passed. But don't worry, his will lingers in this world, and you'll likely get a chance to meet him again."

The moment he finished those words, Zarkul looked to the sky and flashed a frown.

"It looks like I'll have to face the consequences of my actions. Until then, Rael Sutekh."

And with those words, the Beast seemingly vanished, not giving him any more information or clarity on the situation.

But Rael didn't mind. Having the approval of such a being, and even a few others, was more than enough for him to feel satisfied.

Of course, it was also about damn time he collected his rewards.

<Reward: Premium Perk Selection [Ultimate-Unique] - Activated!>

<Rolling...>

Now why in the fuck is there a gacha interface? Rael's brows furrowed.

There were 5 interfaces with many different symbols flashing all at once.

He waited patiently, just as he had done in the past, and soon, every single one of those interfaces halted.

And with that, five different perks appeared in front of him.

<Pick one Premium [Ultimate-Unique] perk!>

1. Premium World [Ultimate-Unique]: Create and manage a medium-sized pocket dimension. Rules, enemies, loot, and laws are fully customizable. Free. One-Time Use Perk.

2. Premium Mirror [Ultimate-Unique]: Copy any skill, form, or ability you witness. Duration and cost depend on target's power.

3. Premium Curse [Ultimate-Unique]: Impose a debuff, restriction, or twisted Premium rule onto others. Cost determines the effectiveness.

4. Premium Awaken [Ultimate-Unique]: Any skill or item that reaches the max level can evolve again, entering a new, unknown rank beyond the system. Cost increases exponentially depending on the rank of the skill. Unpredictable Skill Mutations.

5. Premium Greed [Ultimate-Unique]: You automatically claim 1% of all currency and experience gained by everyone in your controlled areas. Defeated enemies have an extremely low chance to drop a [Greed Fragment], and collecting it grants you ???.

Oh boy... Rael sighed.

He expected easy choices, yet he was met with this shit.

Every single one of these perks was overpowered. However, he could hesitantly rule out a few right away.

Premium World and Premium Mirror greatly resembled Premium Dungeon and Premium Override, so they were out.

Premium Curse seemed overpowered, but it didn't seem as special as the rest, so Rael voted it out too.

Finally, he was down to two perks, and they were arguably the best ones he had ever seen.

Premium Awaken and Premium Greed.

One was like his Premium Evolution, but for skills. It was definitely something he wanted, however, the unpredictability factor gave him some doubts.

Rael sat down on the ground, grumbling.

Premium Awaken is so fucking good and I'd pick it right away... but do I really need it right now? Rael pondered, and decided to check one thing out in particular.

•—Premium Shop—•

Category: Skills/Rank-up

•—Balance: 1,516,751,533 Trell—•

• Common → Uncommon Skill Rank-up (Uncommon): 1,000,000 Trell

• Uncommon → Rare Skill Rank-up (Rare): 10,000,000 Trell

• Rare → Epic Skill Rank-up (Epic): 100,000,000 Trell

• Epic → Legendary Skill Rank-up (Legendary): 500,000,000 Trell

<Expand for more>

Hmm... Rael fell into thought.

Some skills had built-in rank-ups, and while most didn't...

From what he could see, these premium shop skill rank-ups bypassed those restrictions, but obviously, their prices were pretty steep.

Nonetheless, since he found a slightly worse alternative, there was only one choice remaining.

Premium Greed. It was a skill that would be very useful since he would be ruling over multiple areas in the future. But then there was also the second option, which had question marks.

It was a gamble, but he always did enjoy gambling every now and then.

Therefore, without wasting a second more, he selected the final perk.

<Perk Chosen! Premium Greed [Ultimate-Unique]>

Premium Greed [Ultimate-Unique]: You automatically claim 1% of all currency and experience gained by everyone in your controlled areas. Defeated enemies have an extremely low chance to drop a [Greed Fragment], and collecting it grants unique Greed-based powers.

<Greed Fragments: 1>

1 Fragment: 1% Chance to convert a dropped or crafted item into the [Gold] sub-rarity.

5 Fragments: ???

10 Fragments: ???

25 Fragments: ???

<Expand [+Infinity]>

Ohhh, Rael shot up to his feet. A perk where I can get insane stuff just by killing enemies... this is perfect.

Safe to say, while the Premium Awaken perk was very good, this perk, in particular, had the chance to scale infinitely, which also meant Rael could get that much more power.

Nonetheless, he was going to play around with it later. Instead, it was time to check out his new title.

<Reward 2: New Title: Crystalline Inheritance (Mythic)>

—Crystalline Inheritance: Constructs you create inherit +5% of your core stats.

"..."

It just kept getting more and more overpowered.

The 5% would turn into nearly 10% of his stats because of the additive bonuses, so Rael could literally create an army of constructs and take over entire countries.

Though it almost seems like someone is gearing me up with these perks and effects... Rael pondered for a moment and put it aside.

Instead, he focused on a particular message in front of him.

<Do you wish to leave the Depths? Yes/No>

Rael shot one final glance at his surroundings, yet he felt as if he forgot something...

Oh right. Caedia... she'll be fine. Probably.

After that spider control fiasco, he was pretty sure the other empresses lost favor, giving Caedia all the authority.

Therefore, Rael merely whistled to himself in anticipation and pressed "Yes."

<Confirmed.>
