Chapter 165: The Special Event, And Leaving For Ogarak

Being the reasonable person he was, Rael immediately absorbed all those ores into his Premium Dungeon.

—Uncommon Ores – 37,050,000 Trell Daily

Low Quality Celestite (Uncommon) [Level 50] (x1195) [+]

Low Quality Stardust Mithril (Uncommon) [Level 200] (x10) [+]

—Epic Ores – 1,000,000 Trell Daily

High Quality Magic Alloy (Epic) [Level 500] (x1) [+]

Not too shabby at all, Rael thought in satisfaction as he tapped the air a couple of times and kept his word.

He swiftly gave them access, and with that, his slots decreased even more.

They’d only see the pop-ups after they woke up, so Rael didn’t bother with them for the time being.

Instead, he made his way back into his car and waited for Zafira to arrive.

However, just a few seconds later, the pop-up he’d hoped would come later appeared.

Oh? Rael raised a brow. Level 850 is the minimum, and they’d get my special variation if they killed me? Haha… fuck off.

Yet that seemed to not be the end of it, as another pop-up soon descended.

“Come on…” Rael muttered, and the moment he did, he heard his passenger door open.

Zafira leisurely sat inside, nearly bonking her head on the way down.

She seemed confused about what to do once inside, so he simply fastened her seatbelt and looked ahead.

“That pop-up just now, is it going to be trouble?” Zafira asked, glancing around the car like a little kid.

“Not a lot of trouble, no. I don’t think—”

<(x3899) Human [Level 1 ~ 92] has been Threaded!>

“Yeah… we’re going to be fine,” Rael muttered as his smirk grew.

There was a perfect skill for this exact situation.

—Neural Collapse: Snap all threads, dealing 20,000,000 + 24,000% Willpower as Mental Damage and stunning for 5s.

Cost: 150,000,000 MP

Therefore, with a simple snap of his fingers, he used the skill.

[MP -150M 917M/1,067B (x1 Neural Collapse)]

Immediately, a dozen dings resounded in his ear, and he saw a dozen blue particles rise up into the air from far away.

And of course, what followed was an astronomical damage number.

-29.58T! Critical Hit! [x3899] (x1 Neural Collapse)

The system automatically shortened it, but even then, dealing billions of damage to multiple people at once really added up.

Zafira sat innocently by, and with that, he decided to speed up and put the car into autopilot.

It took them less than a minute to arrive at the mountainside elevator, and he hit the switch before traveling up to the forest.

Rael noticed a few of his constructs roaming around, their figures practically blurring past him.

They’re an insane defense… when I’m back, I’ll create a couple dozen more, Rael decided and continued traveling forward.

Their ride would take around two hours even at top speed, but it gave them a little time to talk.

“Are you sure it was a good idea to put her in charge?”

“Nope.” Zafira shook her head. “I don’t trust anyone to lead Celestara while I’m gone. But I trust you, and you trust Evelyn, so I guess it works out.”

“Seriously…” Rael rolled his eyes and decided to change the topic.

“Did any news of the spy come up?”

“Yes and no…” Zafira trailed off and rolled back her seat, practically laying down. “The guards did say they noticed someone walking around the time the seal could’ve been stolen. However, we have no clue who it is.”

“But if it’s someone close to you, doesn’t that narrow it down?” Rael asked. “A maid, a royal knight captain? No?”

“It’s not that simple,” Zafira replied, and as she was about to continue, her eyes widened.

“Oh?” Rael tilted his head. “Did you figure something out?”

She slowly nodded. “There are some remnants of the former king scattered in the palace. A handful of guards, and even a few maids. I never suspected them since they are annexed to a different part of the palace, and they can’t approach the main palace… but maybe they can?”

“A coup,” Rael deduced. “I guess that’s one way to deal with the loss of their tyrant king.”

Zafira shrugged and began tapping the air, likely sending a message.

And after just a few seconds, she finished and leaned back in her seat even more.

“I told Evelyn to keep an eye out on a few people. I also asked Aria and Linlin for their cooperation,” Zafira said nonchalantly. “If they can deal with it before we’re back, then I’ll have no choice but to reward them handsomely.”

“That’s the queen for you.” Rael whistled. “Always so domineering and magnanimous—”

“No need to bootlick, Rael,” Zafira cut him off with a giggle. “Focus on the road instead. This carriage is much faster than what I’m used to.”

Clearly, it was since the surroundings warped from the sheer speed.

All this for cheap, no less… what if I got something for 1 billion…? Would I be able to teleport? Rael thought, and decided to simply lay back and wait for them to arrive at the edge of Ogarak.

The hunt might not be too difficult for them, given how overpowered they were.

Ogarak was one of the few places on the entire continent, aside from the Demonic Lands, where extremely strong monsters roamed freely.

But then again…

Rael glanced toward Zafira, who had seemingly fallen asleep, her peaceful snores filling the car.

As long as you’re here, we’ll be fine…
