Shock Arrow was only going to stun a divine player like Tear Stain for up to 1.5 seconds, and most of us couldn’t get to her before she recovered. The only exception here was Li Chengfeng!

That was why Beiming Xue wisely shot Tear Stain with Bone Eroding Arrow and broke her Defense. It would make it much easier and faster for us to bring her down!
Li Chengfeng shot up from the ground and pointed his Cyan Peak Halberd straight at her stomach. Then, he skewered her with a 7-hit Dragonbone Flurry. He was divine himself, so he dealt at least 700k damage per hit or over 5 million damage in total to her. However, Tear Stain still had over 50% HP because she was fully buffed. I reckoned that she had around 14 million HP or so.
"Kill her with Dragonblade Revolution!" I shouted.
"Mn!" A dragon’s soul slithered up his arm even as he responded to me. I had to admit that practically all of the Dragon Warrior’s skills were cool as fuck!
Unfortunately, an arrow struck him in the chest and stunned him before he could unleash the killer move. It was the Heroic Bannerman and number one ranged player of the Korean server, the legendary Dawn Archer Frosty Night who stunned him with a Shock Arrow!
Swhoosh!
Not only that, a bloody flash suddenly appeared behind the Chinese warrior. It was Throne of the Wild’s best assassin, Blazing Pulse!
Blade Vortex!
The series of attacks dropped much of Li Chengfeng’s HP!
Without hesitation, Gui Guzi slapped his Dark Crystal Dragon’s in the head, charged toward Blazing Pulse and swung his Ghostblade Halberd!
Clang!
Sparks flew everywhere. Blazing Pulse just barely parried Gui Guzi’s attack but was still sent flying across the air. He didn’t wait to land to use fluorescent powder to forcefully reenter stealth.
While Gui Guzi was rescuing Li Chengfeng, He Yi and I unleashed Burning Blade Slash + Stormwind Break combo in an attempt to one-shot Tear Stain where she stood. I even fired off an Ancient Seal to ensure that she would be seriously injured even if she survived the combo!
Unfortunately, Tear Stain recovered from her stun before our skills could hit her. She immediately wrapped herself inside her exclusive Divine General Skill, Void Barrier. It was a skill that could cause any attack to have over a 50% chance to miss her!
Swhoosh swhoosh swhoosh! Only one of my attacks managed to land on her. Pale-faced and low on health, Tear Stain chose to cast Absolute Zero!
At the same time, I executed my own Thousand Ice Slash!
Bang!

We were frozen at nearly the same time, but Tear Stain was able to fall on top of her troops. I didn’t think we could get to her now.

I took a 7-hit Dawn Rapid Shot to the chest right after the Frozen status condition had passed. The Dawn Archer didn’t even give me the time to breathe before shaving about 3 million HP from my health bar. What a dangerous bastard!

"Change of plans. Let’s kill Blazing Pulse first!" I said in the party channel.
Li Chengfeng asked, "What, he’s still around?"
"He’s 5 meters behind you!"
"Holy shit!"
Li Chengfeng immediately turned around and threw out his Dragonblade Revolution. His aim was good, and the AoE skill was able to dispel the assassin’s stealth and deal over almost 2 million damage.
"Dammit!"
Blazing Pulse panicked and tried to leap away to safety. However, he slammed face first into an invisible barrier and got a bloody nose for his efforts. It was of course Lian Xin’s Origin Force Field. He tried a couple more times to return to his troops but just couldn’t stop running into Origin Force Fields again and again. Lian Xin had his escape options completely nailed down.
Buzz…
Next, a blue matrix formation appeared on the ground right before Blazing Pulse set his foot on it. It was her killer move, Ice Spiral Matrix!
The assassin felt like giving up there and then. Li Chengfeng was making a mad dash toward him from behind, and all left or right paths were completely sealed off by Origin Force Fields. He had no choice but to continue forward despite knowing that he could die to the spell.

Just like that, Blazing Pulse was knocked out of the Nation War. It wasn’t his fault though. There was simply nothing he could do against a top-tier divine mage who could fly.

Beiming Xue got my meaning right away despite my rather succinct instruction. "Okay, you lead, big bro!"

She approached her target soundlessly from the sky while I dashed forward. Li Chengfeng, Chaos Moon, Gui Guzi and more were doing their utmost to punch through the blockade as well.

Swhoosh! A golden seal dropped right on top of the Dawn Archer. He let out an exclamation of surprise but was able to dodge the skill by Leaping about 30 yards to the back. However, the second his foot touched the ground, an arrow appeared too fast for him to react.
He attempted to touch his ring and activate his invincibility skill, but it was too late. Right after the Shock Arrow stunned him, a spinning blade cut through his body from behind. It was of course my Coiling Dragon Revolution. I had also thrown my sword right after Frosty Night used Leap so I could match the pace of Beiming Xue’s Shock Arrow—

Frosty Night groaned and died as expected. My Coiling Dragon Revolution had critted, so he didn’t have even the slimmest of chances to survive the attack!

That was yet another Heroic Bannerman dead. Everyone’s morale was skyrocketing at this point!
A far distance away, Tear Stain could only watch her subordinates be killed because she was still healing from her injuries. Unwilling to admit defeat, she abruptly unsheathed her sword and declared, "Archers and mages, focus-fire the enemy as I told you too! Follow-up teams, advance to the front! There has to be an end to them! Also, don’t bother attacking Broken Halberd Sinks Into Sand, Legendary Brave and the like! We can’t one-shot them anyway, so we may as well focus on those we can kill!"
Dozens of Dragonlight Cavalrymen immediately took an arrow to the knee[1] and fell off their mounts. I had to admit that Tear Stain was an intelligent and tenacious woman. She wouldn’t be able to create such a powerful guild otherwise.
However, the Dragonlight Cavalrymen present were among the absolute best of the best. Many refused to fall despite the enemy mages’ deadly bombardment. Before we knew it, we were close enough to the entrance that we could see Warsky Alliance and Soul Battle Robes battling against the enemy less than 500 meters away from us.
"Kill! Don’t stop charging!" Li Chengfeng ordered loudly.

Dozens of Dragonlight fell to a barrage of God Devil Breaks. Despite Purple Dragon boosting their stats by 150%, the Intelligence gap between a mage and a fighter was still too huge to overcome. Plus, we didn’t have anyone to heal us besides Murong Mingyue. There was no way she could’ve kept all of us alive!
"We can’t continue like this. We’re taking too much damage!" Chaos Moon exclaimed with a pained look on her face.
I gritted my teeth. "And yet we must, or everyone’s death will be for nothing!"
"Mn."
On the fourth activation of Xuanyuan Art, we were finally less than 200 yards away from the valley interior. Countless magic and arrows were falling from the mountains that formed the entrance, so you could imagine just how much damage our Dragonlight Cavalrymen were suffering. There was almost not a single moment where I couldn’t see a Dragonlight Cavalryman dying to the enemy. My heart was dripping blood, but the sacrifice had to be made to save Warsky Alliance.

On the other side, Warsky and Lin Bing Dou Zhe were charging with a group of Gold Cavalrymen as well. They were doing everything they could to meet up with us.
Tear Stain gripped her sword tightly and descended to the ground once more. She executed Yemaek Slash that instantly one-shot a group of low-health Gold Cavalrymen.
Warsky immediately shouted, "NOW! TAKE HER OUT NOW!"

There was a bloody flash, and Tear Stain suddenly froze like she had lost consciousness or something. It was Farewell Song landing an Ambush from behind with his blood-red Devil’s Kiss. Farewell Song knew that time was precious, so he immediately charged his Coldblood Mad Strike right after he executed his Blade Vortex.
Unfortunately, a spear plunged through his shoulder before he could finish charging the skill!

Farewell Song was an assassin, so the blow nearly sent him flying across the air. His attacker was none other than the vice leader of Throne of the Wild, Emperor Wang!
After interrupting Farewell Song’s charging with his spear, Emperor Wang proceeded to cast Ultimate Strength Break!

As expected, the Ultimate Strength Break of a 5-Strength magic knight was quite powerful!
Farewell Song gritted his teeth in frustration, but he didn’t hesitate to stun Tear Stain again with Gouge after landing on his feet[2]. Then, he entered stealth using fluorescent powder and dodged Emperor Wang’s follow-up attacks.

Meanwhile, Warsky, Song of Ice and Fire and more rushed out of the valley with their elite Gold Cavalrymen and Iron Cutter Cavalrymen. Warsky roared, "All units, set up a defense line on both sides of the entrance in front of the Dragonlight Cavalrymen! We must not let our rescuers suffer too much damage! Little Rain, take over the evacuation effort while I fight!"

2. E/N: The timing on these stuns has to be perfect, so despite being ambushed he still knew the exact millisecond his stun would end and followed it up while dodging attacks, in hopes that someone else will finish the job. ☜
